Main Text (English)

Scope & Members

Our main focus is to advocate and promote the research, the development and the use of information technologies and platforms for the purpose of empowering individuals and giving them more freedom, which in turn can enrich the people's everyday lives or support arts and sciences.

Any interested individuals can join us.

Core Values

  • Code Is Law: The information platforms behind the Internet drive our daily communication, which in turn outline the forms of our societies. We are all responsible for things we develop, in matter of their effects on societies and future. When you need freedom, don't wait for someone to write code for you. We write code or define systems, to defend people's freedom.
  • Freedom & Empowerment: We are advocating for the freedom of individuals, with more focus on actual freedoms incorporating improvement of people's capabilities. We support the underrepresented, ensuring that everyone has the tools and knowledge to participate fully in society. We also want to create a place where anyone interested can get skilled.
  • Online Privacy: We are committed to protecting personal privacy online and promoting technologies that enable secure and private communication, while avoiding central weaknesses, by means of distribution.
  • Openness & Transparency: We are encouraging an open exchange of ideas, knowledge, and resources, fostering innovation and collaboration. Our activities must be transparent, disclosing details responsibly, and they should be audited as needed.
  • Diversity & Inclusion: We are promoting diverse, integrated societies and ensuring that all voices are heard and respected. Our activities must themselves be inclusive, respecting different ideas and diverse personal characteristics.
  • Democracy & Independence: We are supporting democratic principles for community governance and IT infrastructure management. We also advocate for the independence of thought, allowing people to make informed decisions without undue influence. We as an organization remain independent from political parties.
  • Sustainability & Compliance: We aim for a sustainable community, being friendly and educative to newcomers. We must also be responsible for global environment, e.g. by promoting green infrastructure or eco-friendly algorithms. For longevity of our activities and the community, basic compliance with local legislation is also needed.
